Focus on the next buyer’s requirements
A future buyer may compare the configuration, usable space, upkeep and total acquisition cost against newer inventory and completed alternatives. A specialised large home can have a different buyer pool from a compact apartment.
Keep the documentation complete
Maintain the allotment, agreement, payment receipts, approvals and later handover records. Before any transfer, check the contract’s conditions, lender requirements and applicable costs. A clean document file supports a smoother review but does not guarantee a sale.
Plan for an uncertain exit date
Marketing price changes are not the same as completed resale transactions. Use comparable evidence where available, allow time to find a buyer and include selling costs in an exit estimate. Do not depend on a fixed appreciation assumption to fund another commitment.
